Mentor Network

The Mentor Network pairs business and engineering students with executives of RBC companies, other partner companies, and community leaders who share career experiences and provide students with practical knowledge and insight into opportunities that exist in St. Louis. Students are hand-selected by their schools based on criteria that includes academic performance, leadership outside the classroom, and willingness to stay and work in St. Louis.

Selected students receive a variety of benefits including:

  • One-on-one meetings with top business leaders and access to senior level executives in St. Louis

  • Advice and counseling from business leaders on career-related topics

  • Valuable business perspective on topics such as community involvement, recreational activities, and cultural opportunities

  • A unique introduction to the St. Louis business community

  • Opportunities to network with mentors and other

Mentor Network

Is a result of the Higher Education Collaboration - a business partnership between RBC members and 12 of the region’s leading universities to develop and retain a talented workforce in the St. Louis region. The Higher Education Collaboration has 4 main objectives: 


  1. Increase awareness of successful companies in St. Louis.

  2. Encourage students to stay in the region upon graduation.

  3. Support special programs that benefit St. Louis’ leading universities.

  4. Foster relationships between RBC companies and business and engineering schools within partnering universities.
