Our region’s colleges and universities are critical, priceless assets that need to be supported, nurtured and developed. The Higher Education Collaboration is a partnership with business and engineering schools at 15 of the region's foremost colleges and universities to create and retain an effective workforce.
RBC Mentor Network. Every academic year, each of the 15 Schools of Business and Engineering in the Collaboration recommends six students, based on academic performance, to participate in the RBC Mentor Network. These students are then individually paired with a CEO of an RBC company to receive practical, “real world” knowledge and post-graduate opportunities. Students interested in participating in the 2009-2010 Mentor Network can download an application form here.
African-American Corporate Network. The African-American Corporate Network is a program for African-American students in the Mentor Network which highlights the many professional and cultural opportunities available in the region. Through both the Mentor Network and the African-American Corporate Network, RBC member companies benefit from a better-prepared and more diverse workforce.
Carl Hausmann, President and CEO, Bunge North America meets with college students to discuss opportunities in the
St. Louis region at a Higher Education Collaboration Reception.
“The RBC Mentor Network pairs RBC members with students who attend our region’s business schools, giving students a direct link to our business community, and giving the mentors an understanding of those entering the workforce.”
